Staff
We understand that caring for children in the home is a complex and far-reaching vocation. We ensure that our staff have the skills, training, and support to work
with our children and further their careers with us if they wish. We recognize the crucial role our senior and residential support workers play in our children’s lives. It is more than a career; it is a vocation that supports children and young people in developing trusting and stable relationships, leading to self-actualization and resilience, enabling them to achieve their best.
Our residential support workers are supported by our in-house therapy team, who provide guidance and support through group supervision, attending
meetings, and one-on-one opportunities. This ensures that the team around each child provides a nurturing and loving home, while using the most effective strategies to respond positively to presenting behaviour. We believe that our therapeutic model of care and the skilled, dedicated group of professionals who deliver it every day provide our children with the best
opportunity to recover, rebuild their lives, grow from adverse experiences, and learn to accept and give warmth, trust, and mutual respect. As part of our recruitment process, we follow Safer Recruitment guidelines, ensuring that all our staff go through a comprehensive process, including enhanced DBS checks.
